2 Daguerreotypes with 3 Daguerreotype Frame Cases. Daguerreotype, an early photographic process, named after Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre, who invented it in collaboration with Nicéphore Niépce in the 1830s. Each daguerreotype is a unique image on a silvered copper plate, not flexible and rather heavy, with a mirror-like surface. This lot features 2 old photos under glass with the 3rd case holding a more modern photo. This lot is in great shape for their ages, please preview. 2 to 4" in sizes. Please preview.
