Details

Estate Oak wood-burning stove, likely from the late 19th or early 20th century. These stoves, also referred to as parlor stoves or cylinder stoves, were popular for heating homes and businesses during that era. The pictured stove features a cast iron construction with ornate detailing, a cylindrical body, and a decorative top finial. It is positioned on a wooden pallet. Estate Oak was a brand of wood-burning stoves manufactured by the Estate of P.D. Beckwith in Dowagiac, Michigan. These stoves are known for their quality craftsmanship and decorative designs, often featuring nickel-plated or polished chrome accents. The model in the image could be similar to the Estate Oak Series 314 or F Series #316, given its cylindrical shape and ornate details. These stoves were designed to burn wood or coal and provided heat through radiation and convection. They were commonly used in homes, saloons, and other establishments to combat cold winter temperatures. Due to their age and the materials used, antique wood-burning stoves like this one can be highly sought after by collectors and antique enthusiasts. This behemoth has been spray painted in a bright silver paint. Does have some damage to the cast skirting, especially on the top extension part. The base is extraordinarily decorative and the entire stove measures approximately 61 in tall and the base is 26 by 26 in. Wicked cool does not even begin to describe this beast in person. Does not come with a chimney pipe, please preview.
