Antique Atwater Kent radio. Features a brass ship emblem on the top.Atwater Kent Model 35 radio from 1926. Key details include: It is a six-tube receiver with three stages of radio frequency amplification. It features a detector and two stages of audio amplification. The radio has a single dial for tuning stations. It originally cost $70 and required five sets of batteries to operate. The left knob serves as a volume control by adjusting the filament voltage. The dimensions of the cabinet are 17.5 x 7.5 x 5.5 inches. This radio is well used and the power supply definitely needs to be replaced old tubing cord. This radio is good for parts or display as is.
